The Man With the Mower — and the Plan
Mark started Verdance at nineteen with a borrowed trailer and a round of six lawns. Twenty-five years later he still walks every new project personally, sketchbook in hand, because he believes no plan survives without standing in the actual space first.
His designs favour structure over ornament: strong bones of hedging and stone, planting that earns its place in at least two seasons, and maintenance baked in from day one. Clients describe his style as "gardens that look after themselves — almost."
